Three successful training days for the Escala GovTech Argentina startups

From October 19 to 21, the startups in the first cycle of Escala GovTech Argentina shared three days of learning, exchange and work.
The sessions covered the GovTech ecosystem, the B2G procurement process, the public servant's perspective, Smart Cities, ethics and integrity, and tools to prepare a pitch for the public sector.
The classes were led by Paola Diegues, Marcelo Blanco, Sebastián Balsells, Sergio Mastrogiovanni, PhD and Silvia Torres Carbonell. Special thanks to Fausto García and Gustavo Nusenovich for their input and feedback during the pitch practice.
Eight startups took part, and we want to highlight their commitment and openness to collaboration: ETHIX, Ualabee, Quien x Mi, Moment Of People, Brainmart, IOT Ciudades Inteligentes, Puzzle AI and Sumato SAS. They now move on to the mentoring stage and the design of possible pilots with public institutions, and we will keep supporting them along the way.
The training was facilitated and coordinated by the CESIS team, Marina Santucci and María Carolina Giustozzi, together with Emprende IAE, an alliance of Universidad Austral that runs Escala GovTech in Argentina.
Escala GovTech is the GovTech Connect component that prepares startups to work with governments, with the support of IDB Lab, in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Together, we keep strengthening the GovTech ecosystem in the region.
